Laptop battery Question

This may be a dumb question, but I'm going to ask anyways. My laptop came with a 6 cell, at least, I think it is, battery that is about to run out. I'm upgrading to a 9 cell. Does the charger I have work with both types of batteries, or will I have to get a new one?

If the battery fits your lap top then the charger will work. If your still having doubts after my excellent answer on the matter, then I would suggest calling your local Best Buy and talking to the Geek squad.

or better yet call the manunafacturer of the pc and talk to them.
